Baptist History Rap
Written by Nathan Finn, Posted in History, SBC, Theology
One of my students from last semester, Ashley Unzicker, has recorded a rap song that covers 400 years of Baptist history. She raps Baptist history and theology to the tune of the Fresh Prince theme song. I’m amused.
I always suspected that TULIP originated among students trying to remember the Calvinistic conclusions of the Synod of Dort, but this takes student creativity to a whole new level.
Words cannot express my feelings about this modern expression of Baptist History. I will admit it is well done.
Do the ends justify the means?
And I complain about having to cover 400 years in 15 lectures! Way to go Ashley.
